Web widgets

The web page widget allows you to add any website page to your signage.

Here’s how to set it up: 

1. Copy the link for the website you like to add.
2. Log-in to your Signcast Studio account
3. Open the creative that you want to add the website to
4. Drag and drop the Web Page to the canvas
5. In the Web page properties on the right, paste the URL in URL section.
6. The website preview will not show in the creative  but will show up in Preview and once it’s on screen.

The web page widget can keep running on the player app offline as long as there is only 1 slide and the reload property of it is set to off.

The Web Image Widget allows you to display any image that is featured on any website just by referring its URL!

Here’s how to set it up: 

1. Right-click on the image (on the website) that you want to display on the screen
2. Select ‘Copy Image Address’
3. In Studio, open the creative/template that you want to add the image to
4. Drag and drop the WebImage widget to the canvas
5. Paste the image address URL in the URL section in the Webimage Properties panel on the right.
6. The image will then populate

The web video widget is very similar to the web image widget. While the webimage widget is a widget to display an image from the web, that means an image which has a URL , the webvideo widget is almost the same, but is meant to display a video which is in the web (has URL).

Here’s how to set it up: 

1. Copy the URL for the video you need to add.
2. In Studio, in the “Video URL” property of the widget, just type or paste the complete URL of the web video you wish to display.
3. Below that, you have a bar for controlling the sound volume of that video.
